30 Day Idol Challenge, Day 02 – An Idol I Hate/Dislike

She’s hot though…

I’d rather be as positive as I can when writing. And what’s the point of spending a whole post on someone I don’t like?

Oh well, I guess it’s called “challenge” for a reason.

 

It’s a bit hard to figure this out though. I either like, don’t know, or ignore idols. I guess the “dislike” would best fit with my “ignore” treatment, but it’s not really true. Also, I’d have way too many people to talk about in this post if I consider those teh same. See, I ignore many idols like Ishikawa Rika, Hagiwara Mai, Aika, Koha. But I don’t dislike them, I just don’t care. I’ll even like something they do once in a while. But if I look at a TV show, and they’re on it, I don’t care to download. Also, although some of them once annoyed me, by now I’m desensitized to most things I don’t like. And most of them grow out of annoying behaviors sooner or later. Some (like Momo) grow into them, but then I still have all the nice memories and can forgive them.

By the way, the things I find annoying are usually classic, harmless idol stuff, but that I’ve grown bored of over time. Like when they introduce themselves listing food they like as if I cared; and some of the introduction lines that they repeat over and over being way too ridiculous (see: fresh lemon girl). And Sayu insisting on “Usachan Peace”. And that damned Balalaika.

 

And since it’s already a negative post, a small point on what makes me dislike idol performances: clothing. I mean, clothing is fine; I’m not opposed to nudity, but that’s not the point. The thing is, I really hate 80% of the stuff the poor H!P girls had to wear at concerts. Really, they’re ridiculous, and it seemed to be only getting worse back when I gave up. At least with AKB I’m guaranteed school uniforms, those never fail.
