I Swear I Was Going To Write A Post This Weekend, But Then I Saw Erepyon

It’s amazing how I always manage to miss the most important posts on Erepyon’s blog, but then still find my way to them later, somehow. I got sick last weekend, and now ended up with a huge backlog of blog posts, for most of the week before that and, well, all of this week too – I don’t read idol blogs at work, which means I almost don’t read them at all during the week. Well, I’m not going through 2 weeks worth of AKB members’ posts at once, I’m not that hardcore. Posts skipped.

Guess when Erepyon decided to announce she’d do a live stream on NicoNico?

So, I missed that one. Thankfully someone mirrored it and I could watch; here it is. Also, when trying to visit the show’s page, it seems like it was blocked from Brazil. Not available in my region, it says. Weird thing is, someone could watch the first episode, because at a certain point Erepyon asks the very excited commenters where they live, and she mentions that someone said Brazil. Damn, that should’ve been me.

There was another one today. I found out about it, and about the one before it, yesterday, by chance. I had nothing to do. Then I decided to watch her DVD, because it’s one of the only idol DVDs out there that don’t bore me. If you’ve seen any, you know what I’m thinking of – those long close-ups with the idol looking at the camera… and then, yay some movement!, and she looks away from the camera… still looking… well, her DVD has none of that crap. But I’ll leave the review for another day. Anyway, I decided to watch her DVD while frustrating myself with Calculus problems. Because that’s what I do on weekends. Looking back, yesterday really was a weird day. And when I finished, I thought I’d read some of her posts as I watched. Then I learned of the programs.

30minutes, Erepyon only… think about that, that didn’t happen too often even when she was in AKB. It’d be maybe a few minutes on AKBINGO! at most, with the occasional DVD release going for an hour. Now, if she keeps this going, she has two programs of still uncertain schedules and duration, but hey, it’ll probably be more than she ever did. Crazy.

Oh, and by now I probably have a bunch of readers completely lost wondering what these programs actually are, so a quick description. The first one is called EreNavigation and aired on February 19th for 30min. In this first episode, there was a bit of free talk in the beginning, then she talked to the commenters, read fan mail, and stuck her hand in a box to guess its contents. It felt like a filmed radio show. The next show is scheduled for next Sunday, March 4th. The second program is called Vocaloid Utattemita Studio, and aired today for 1h10min. She’s an MC in this one together with a guy I have no idea who is, and today’s guest was some seiyuu who I also don’t know. I lost the first 18min because I didn’t wake up on time… But whatever, I wasn’t watching it for either of them. It was a simple talk show, they were interviewing the seiyuu and they all got their turn on singing one song I’ve never heard except that I MISSED EREPYON’S TURN DAMN IT. She must’ve been the first one… I can’t believe they would make the other guy sing and not her, so I must’ve missed it. I don’t know if this one has been uploaded already, I’ll be looking for it.
